-For further information see http://www.mendipcavinggroup.org.uk/sections/upperflood/access.html+Approach only from "The Gullet" at the junction with "Love Lane". there is a track through the woods from here all the way to backdoor (Back Door is the second gated entrance you come to - the first is the 'bat grille' and should not be used). This is private land so please be respectful of the landowner and show every courtesy. The owner has recently planted a screen hedge, please do not damage it. Please be quiet and dont shine lights at the houses.

-The site is owned by Bristol City Council. The caves are locked. The Axbridge Caving Group have negotiated an access procedure with Bristol City Council and can provide guided tours for up to 25 people. The City Council are charging a fee of £25 for each tour.  Contact Alan Gray - toursandresearch@yahoo.com. Information relating to the caves and tours see - www.bristoltours.com. Note for cavers who have the BCA insurance the £25 fee is waived.+01/08/2011 Do not park in the Quarrymans Arms car park, please park on the green just along from the pub. Do not obstruct the highway.
