+Box Quarry has been closed by the landowner and CSCC are in communication with them and other interested parties, to see how this situation can be resolved.
+We know the landowner is not opposed to bona fide access for cavers and mine explorers, but they do have a legal duty to keep the quarries secure against casual entry, and a recent series of high profile incidents in the quarry have caused pressure on the landowner to secure the site.
+We respect the landowner's rights and understand their legal duties. We are hopeful that an equitable solution can be achieved in the longer term.
