The old spits were drilled out and, where possible, have been replaced with resin anchors. The unapproved through bolts are still in place but have had their nuts and hangers removed where possible. These should not be used. A notice to this effect will be placed by Dave King early next week. The resin holding the new bolts has now had time to cure and so the route is usable again from this weekend (26th June). A full account of this work and a new rigging topo are being prepared and will be published as soon as possible. Our thanks are due to Andrew Atkinson, Dave King and the team of volunteers for carrying out this essential work.
